All the way from Bosnia & Herzegovina comes Ademir Šabić and his magnificent pencil to illustrated the action-packed adventures of Kragor the Savage. To say I'm thrilled to have Ademir as Kragor's artist would be like saying that lava is kinda warm! Here are a few sketches Ademir has whipped up, just to give you an idea of how awesome things are gonna look--and to give you a glimpes behind-the-scenes--which is what this blog is all about! Enjoy!!

The first two sketches are Ademir experimenting with Kragor's look. Note he experimented with hair length and even a beard. The third sketch is a really good indication of what Kragor will look like when he makes his Red Lion debut. The fourth sketch is one the many enemies Kragor will face in his premiere adventure.

The Return of Kragor (and you didn't even know he'd left)!

Kragor is coming back! Some of you who are into small press might remember his adventures published by the now-defunct Blue Moon Comics. One story, which appeared in Infinite Tales #1 and Vault of Shadows #1, was drawn by the lovely and talented J.P. Dupras; the second Kragor story was published in Vault of Shadows #7, with art by the astounding Mihajlo Petrovic. Mihajlo has the art on display here, if you wanna take a gander.

That was then, this is now. The new Kragor will make his debut in Red Lion Publications' Red Lion Spotlight sometime next year, and he's a lot bigger, badder, and angrier. This new Kragor is a brute who, when he does a good deed, does it in spite of himself. You're gonna love to hate him! Watch this space for details on artist and publication date!
